Sometimes you just have to dig in, keep your head down and get on with it! It’s not pretty, it’s not fun, but you know that it helps you either inch towards your goal, or at least stops you rolling backwards.

I’m tapping into grit to work late, but I wouldn’t want to do it all the time. Overusing or relying too heavily on grit can make us feel burned out pretty damn quickly.

It’s good to have it in reserve for crunch times, but in the long term, it can be useful to think about having a back-up plan and looking at what other strengths you could use to make things feel smoother for you.
