It might be your day job you have to sort out, or your kids, partner or life admin that is piling up.

This is the stuff that needs attention and time to keep life moving along without major incident, but it’s not usually the stuff we post about on social media. If you are juggling side hustles, devoting time to a new habit or lifestyle change, well done you for committing and just getting it done.

Setting a little time aside for ourselves can make a huge difference to our mindset and allow us to keep going in this phase.

5 minutes of reading a trashy novel at bedtime, 10 minutes of silence in the morning as you drink your coffee. A few minutes between calls on a busy day to put your head on your desk and rest before jumping to the next thing.
